Music is the integration of many elements, such as color, texture, tone, pulse, dynamics .....
The music will lose its direction and soul if we concentrate on one element while putting less effort in others. Each element is only one attribute of the music.

Amazed by the storyline in "Appassionata" in F minor composed by Beethoven.

Recently got some new insight in playing "Tempest" in D minor composed by Beethoven after watching some masterclass videos in playing Beethoven's Sonatas.

To seek for freedom to play the piece without conflicting with the original strict structure .....
Need to appropriately model the piece as a framework, lots of details to express in the piece.....um.....what an art....abrupt changes throughout....silence before a storm...and then back to silence....the composer's intention to extend the piano into its full capability.

A wonderful night sharing my interest in classical music with a dear brother...and he appreciates!

Thanks, bro K, I enjoyed the dinner so much, it's so good to be able to talk to people for hours. It's such a new  experience (by the way, I've never tried to dine with one person for so long). But well, sorry to let down others....=( cause of my carelessness........
